Coral Harbour Base, 14 NOV. ‘19 (RBDF): Commander Defence Force (Acting) Captain Raymond King and Command Warrant, Force Chief Petty Officer Oral Wood are attending the Caribbean Nations Security Conference at US Southern Command. The conference’s theme is “Empowering Regional Mechanism to Counter Threats and Enhance Partnerships”. The aim of the conference is to provide a platform for key military leaders to discuss issues of defense, disaster relief and security that are impacting the region. The conference also allows for a shared framework to be created to aid in understanding common threats and strengthen partnerships to align and solidify regional support for Caribbean response and security architecture.
