In thanking Commodore King for the opportunity to visit, Ambassador Raja Gabaglia Lins also used the opportunity to highlight several Defence Force Marines for their performances at the embassy. They included Force Chief Petty Officer Oral Wood, Chief Petty Officer Perry Colebrooke, and Able Seaman Jorann Adderley.
Matters of sharing multi-personnel training between the two countries as well as gaining further insight into the drone program were also discussed. The enhancement of the Search and Rescue capabilities was another area of interest, along with plans of addressing transnational threats, and other matters of mutual interests including the current COVID-19 pandemic were discussed.
To culminate the visit, both parties exchanged pleasantries.
Ambassador Raja Gabaglia Lins served as Brazil’s ambassador to Pakistan from August 21, 2015, to January 2020, before presenting his credentials as Brazil’s ambassador to The Bahamas on March 12, 2020.
