Teachers and students from the C.R. Walker Senior High School’s Business Department visited HMBS Coral Harbor Base on November 22, 2022.The initial tour of the base introduced the students to various departments within the organization and their roles in the daily operation of the force. The group also received an inside view of the various career paths that could be pursued once enlisted in the Royal Bahamas Defence Force.The tour which was deemed a remarkable experience by teachers and students, left them with a deeper appreciation for the hard work, dedication, and sacrifice officers and marines display daily in every facet of their service.Before their initial departure, Captain Coral Harbor, Captain Glenn McPhee left them with words of encouragement, noting that if they continue to work hard in all that they do, they too can become the next generation of marines.
