Aligning with Commander Defence Force, Commodore Raymond King’s strategic objective of focusing on organizational sustainment and national youth development, a monetary donation from the various Messes of the Royal Bahamas Defence Force was made to the C.C. Sweeting Sporting club on March 7, 2023, at HMBS Coral Harbour Base.Captain Coral Harbour, Captain Glenn McPhee and the leaders of the Officers Wardroom Mess, the Warrant Officers and Senior Mess and the Junior Rates Mess made the presentation to the school’s Principal Mrs. Vanessa James-Rolle, which will assist the track team in procuring new uniforms. Commodore King is also an alumni of the school.Representing each of the RBDF Messes were Base Executive Officer, Commander Origin Deleveaux, Force Chief Petty Officer Raymond Sands and Leading Seaman Akeino Munroe. Principal Rolle was grateful for the gesture, which will be of assistance to the students as they participate in sporting events.The Royal Bahamas Defence Force remains committed to the development of the youth as a socially responsible partner within the community.(
