Commander Defence Force, Commodore Raymond King met with the family of the Late Force Chief Petty Officer Paul Miller to convey his condolences on the 16 January 2023. During the visit, Commodore King shared found memories of Force Chief Petty Officer Miller, stating that he was first to develop the Welfare Department. As the former Human Resources Officer, Commodore King spoke highly of Miller’s character, stating that he was always receptive to his ideas, objectives and plans for the Welfare Department. As words uttered with heartbreak from those represented, one factor was common amongst them, Force Chief Petty Officer Miller was well respected and loved. Many enlisted looked up to his display of leadership and mentorship for he always maintained an open-door policy. His years of dedicated service to the Royal Bahamas Defence Force was instrumental in upholding the welfare and morale of all service men and women.Also in attendance were Lieutenant Commander Elvis Bullard and staff of the Welfare Department, Force Chaplain, Apostle Raymond Wells, Command Warrant, Force Chief Petty Officer Remone Storr, and representatives of the RBDF Veterans Association.Commodore Dr. Raymond King extends sincerest condolences to the family members, loved ones, and friends of the late Force Chief Petty Officer Paul Miller on behalf of his Executive Team, Officers, Warrant Officers, Senior Rates, Junior Rates, Veterans and Reserves of the Royal Bahamas Defence Force.
