On September 18, 2024, the Chaplain’s Office of the Royal Bahamas Defence Force (RBDF) conducted an inspiring visit to various residences in the western area of Nassau. This initiative aimed to uplift the spirits of personnel on duty through words of inspiration and prayer.

The visit was led by Chaplain Raymond Wells, accompanied by Assistant Chaplain, Force Chief Petty Officer John Ingraham, Reservist Chief Petty Officer Preston Collins, and Acting Force Chief Eunice Rolle. Together, they visited key locations, including the Reform Commission, the Airwing, the British High Commission Residence, and the U.S. Ambassador’s Residence, where they engaged with RBDF members and offered encouragement.

“We are committed to supporting the well-being of our personnel,” said Chaplain Wells. “These visits allow us to connect with our service members on a personal level and provide them with the spiritual guidance they may need while serving their nation.”

The Chaplaincy Department of the Royal Bahamas Defence Force remains dedicated to nurturing the morale and spirits of its personnel. Through outreach programs like this, they aim to foster a strong sense of community and resilience among those who serve in the Defence Force.

Under the leadership of Commodore Raymond E. King, the Royal Bahamas Defence Force remains steadfast in its mission to foster a supportive environment, demonstrating through actions like these that the welfare and morale of its members are of paramount importance.
