The second week of the Commander Defence Force (CDF) Strategic Planning Symposium which addressed Chief Petty Officers concluded on Friday, April 22, 2022 at the Defence Force, Coral Harbour Base.The three-day symposium commenced on 20 April 2022 under the theme “Developing A Professional High Performance Force, Focused on Performance Excellence”. Participants were engaged in discussions geared toward preparation for mission building.Presentations on service-related topics were made by members of the Department of Immigration, Royal Bahamas Police Force, Bahamas Technical and Vocational Institute, National Insurance Board, and Defence Force.In his address, Commodore King shared his vision for the organization in areas of Maritime Security, Administration, Operations and Logistics as well as future strategic objectives dissected into short-term, medium-term, and long-term goals.It is the intent of the command to cultivate a high-performance workforce through the inclusive participation of all its members, focusing on teamwork to create synergy throughout the ranks and rates.
