Colina Insurance Limited donated Alpha 3 Special Forces helmets to the Royal Bahamas Defence Force (RBDF) Commando Squadron in a ceremony on October 11, 2023, at Colina Headquarters.
The donation reflects Colina’s commitment to national security and supporting the armed forces in maintaining a standard of operational readiness.
Colina executives Maxine Seymour, Sherelle Johnson, and Cheryle Martins emphasized the importance of corporate responsibility and how such contributions enhance the safety of frontline personnel. Acting Commander Edwards Fritz, Commanding Officer of the Commando Squadron, highlighted that the helmets will improve marine protection and effectiveness in high-risk environments.
This donation strengthens the long-standing partnership between Colina and the RBDF, underscoring the vital role of collaboration with community stakeholders. Receiving the helmets on behalf of Commodore Raymond King were Captain Glenn McPhee, Commander Byron Brown, Acting Commander Fritz, and Lieutenant Darius Adams.
