The Royal Bahamas Defence Force Command Team, led by Deputy Commander Defence Force, Captain Shonedel Pinder, paid a special visit on the family of the late Commodore (Retired) Leon L. Smith on Thursday, February 2, 2023, at the family residence.During the official visit, the team met with the children and immediate family members, and Captain Pinder extended condolences on behalf of Commander Defence Force, Commodore Raymond King, Officers and Enlisted Marines of the Royal Bahamas Defence Force. After reflecting on the life of Commodore Smith and his numerous contributions to the organization, special prayers and words of encouragement were offered to the family, as they mourn their loved one.Accompanying Captain Pinder were Captain Coral Harbour (CCH), Captain Glenn McPhee, accompanied by RBDF Welfare Officer, Lieutenant Commander Elvis Bullard and members of the RBDF Chaplaincy Office and Morale, Welfare and Recreation Unit.The family was appreciative for the visit of expressed condolences and support by the Officers and Marines of the Royal Bahamas Defence Force.
