Coral Harbour Base, 18 JUL. ‘19 (RBDF): Following the festive and patriotic celebrations of The Bahamas’ 46th Independence Anniversary Celebration, the Officers of the Royal Bahamas Defence Force hosted a Post-Independence Cocktail reception at Coral Harbour Base on July 12.
In attendance were the Minister of National Security, the Honorable Marvin Dames, Acting Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of National Security, Mr. Eugene Poitier, Deputy Permanent Secretary, Mrs. Lisa Adderley, senior government officials, officials from the United States Embassy, and partnering law enforcement agencies, as well as Defence Force Warrant Officers and other distinguished guests.
This event was the climax of The Bahamas’ 46th Independence Celebrations for the Defence Force. Musical Entertainment for the night was provided by the Royal Bahamas Defence Force Dance Band.
