Well done to the R.B.D.F Marines and Rangers who participated this in the recent Bahama Health 2018 Annual Run Dirty at Junkanoo Beach, West Bay Street.

A total of 20 participants from the Royal Bahamas Defence Force along with 30 RBDF Rangers took part in this competition. They all completed and endured many obstacles along the way, from rope climbing to tunnel crawling and a waist deep water run. Most of all what’s a “Run Dirty” without a mud crawl! This race was and still is like none other.

Commander Defence Force, Commodore Tellis Bethel congratulated the Defence Force Officers and Marines and RBDF Rangers who participated in this year’s event for their accomplishments and determination.

The winning team from the Defence Force consisted of: Able Seaman Gregory Lockhart, Able Seaman Georgino Bodie, Able Mechanic Kevin Hall, Marine Seaman Darius Johnson and Marine Mechanic Kyland Cash. Placing 2nd overall was Marine Seaman Wellington Ramsey.

At the conclusion of the race, winners and top finishers were presented with medals and trophies.

A cheque was also presented to the RBDF Rangers program from the Bahama Health Foundation. Rangers were on hand to receive the check.
