Royal Bahamas Defence Force personnel attached to the Southern Command showed their support during various activities that highlighted Youth Month Celebrations on the island.

On Friday October 25th 2019 under the theme, “Youth Globally Connected, Locally Focused”, the team assited in an island-wide clean-up campaign in Matthew Town, Inagua on Friday October 25th 2019. RBDF Officer In-Charge Lieutenant Dominique Rigby, deployed his team led by Chief Petty Officer Stephen Farquharson. They assisted the community by working with the young people in removing debris from along the main thoroughfares on the island.

Spearheaded by the Island Administrator Mr. Marlon Leary, the island joins the country in recognizing and honoring the youths of the nation. The clean-up campaign is of several the activities on the island.

The Royal Bahamas Defence Force remains committed to protecting the territorial environment of The Bahamas along with helping to prepare our future leaders.
