DIRECTOR OF IMMIGRATION PAID COURTESY CALL ON COMMANDER DEFENCE FORCE

Newly appointed Director of Immigration, Stephen Laroda, recently paid a courtesy visit to Commodore Floyd Moxey, Commander Defence Force on Tuesday, 05 August 2025.

The meeting provided an opportunity to strengthen collaboration between the Bahamas Department of Immigration and the Royal Bahamas Defence Force (RBDF), ensuring continued security and effective management of the nation’s borders. Both leaders discussed ongoing efforts and future strategies to enhance national security and support lawful immigration processes.

Commander Moxey welcomed Director Laroda and expressed optimism about the partnership moving forward. The shared commitment between the two agencies to protecting The Bahamas is paramount. “We look forward to working closely with Director Laroda and the Department of Immigration to uphold the safety and integrity of our borders,” said Commodore Moxey.

The RBDF and the Department of Immigration reaffirm their dedication to safeguarding The Bahamas through continued partnership and mutual support.
