Defence Headquarters, 28 FEB. ‘23 (RBDF): In keeping with the Commander Defence Force, Commodore Raymond King’s strategic focus on Talent Management, Marine Mechanic Jermaine Johnson was recognized as the Engineer of the Year by the Engineering Department during an awards ceremony held at HMBS CORAL HARBOUR on Monday 28 February 2023.
Johnson is a 4-year veteran of the Royal Bahamas
Defence Force assigned to the Mechanical workshop. He has been instrumental in the modification and installation of the caterpillar engine in RBDF crafts and is intimately involved in the rigging of others on board Coral Harbour Base.
Captain Coral Harbour, Captain Glenn McPhee made the presentation, accompanied by Assistant Base Engineering Officer, Senior Lieutenant Nevada Bain, Senior Rates of the Engineering Department and the Force Chaplain, Apostle Raymond Wells.
