Earlier this week, on June 5, 2024, Officers and Marines of The Royal Bahamas Defence Force New Entry 34 made a heartfelt donation to Captain Whitfield Neely (ret.) during his time of need.
Lieutenant Commander Livingstone Brown, along with his squad mates from New Entry 34, is
set to celebrate their 25th entry anniversary on June 7, 2024. In a gesture of gratitude and
solidarity, they decided to present a donation to Captain Neely (ret.), who has been a constant
source of inspiration and mentorship for the marines of Entry 34 throughout their careers.
Instead of using the funds they had saved for their anniversary celebration, the marines chose to
support Captain Neely (ret.) in his moment of hardship. This decision reflects the deep respect
and appreciation they hold for him, acknowledging his unwavering support and guidance during
their formative years.
Under the leadership of Commander Defence Force, Commodore Raymond E. King, the Royal
Bahamas Defence Force is committed to being a responsible corporate citizen through various
outreach initiatives and projects. These efforts aim to strengthen community relations, positively
impact individuals, and contribute to the development of thriving communities.
