Members of the International Maritime Academy recently paid a courtesy visit to Captain Coral Harbour, Captain Glenn McPhee, at the Royal Bahamas Defence Force’s Coral Harbour Base. The visit focused on strengthening collaboration in critical areas, including auditing search and rescue strategies, executing training programs, conducting drill assessments, enhancing information sharing, and reviewing the legislative framework for search and rescue.

This engagement highlights the RBDF’s commitment to transparency and adherence to international standards, with a focus on continuously enhancing operational capabilities. As global interdependence intensifies, the Royal Bahamas Defence Force values the vital contributions of regional and international partners in protecting the territorial integrity of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas. Such strategic partnerships are essential in enabling the Defence Force to respond effectively to evolving maritime challenges.

Commander Defence Force, Commodore Raymond King is steadfast in his commitment to fostering enhanced collaboration between the Royal Bahamas Defence Force (RBDF) and local law enforcement agencies, as well as regional partners. These strategic alliances serve as force multipliers, effectively addressing both existing and potential challenges.
