In keeping with the Commander Defence Force, Commodore Raymond King’s strategic focus on Talent Management or the reward and recognition of internal stakeholders for their contributions toward the organization’s success, Marine Seaman Jerard Forbes was recognized as the Marine of the Quarter for the Military Aid to Civil Authority (MACA) Department on June 23, 2021.
During a brief awards ceremony at HMBS CORAL HARBOUR, Forbes was presented with a certificate, from Captain Shawn Adderley, who was serving as Acting Captain Coral Harbour. Also in attendance were Commander Floyd Moxey, Base Executive Officer, Lieutenant Commander Andrew Bowe, Commanding Officer, MACA, and Warrant Officers within the section.
Marine Seaman Forbes enlisted as a member of Entry 52 on January 10 2015, where he is currently assigned to the Registrar General Department in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Throughout his brief tenure, he has displayed remarkable professionalism and a positive working attitude in his deportment.
As the Officers and Marines of the Royal Bahamas Defence Force continues to perform their duties, the organization says ‘Bravo Zulu’ to all who guard the territorial integrity of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas.
