Defence Headquarters, 17 JUL ‘23 (RBDF): The Women of The Royal Bahamas Defence Force enthusiastically participated in a joyous and worshipful Women’s Day service held at The New Covenant Baptist Church on Sunday, July 16, 2023. This celebration, held under the theme “Pursuing the Kingdom of God and Recovering the Lost,” brought together women from various law enforcement and governmental agencies. The timing of this event, coinciding with our country’s 50 years of independence, added an extra layer of significance to the occasion.
During the service, Pastor Trajean Jadorette officiated and took the opportunity to commend the women present for their unwavering dedication not only to their work but also to God and Country.
Within this momentous gathering, it is vital to highlight the integral role that women play within the military. The Women of The Royal Bahamas Defence Force exemplify dedication, resilience, and an unwavering commitment to safeguarding our nation’s security. Their contributions and sacrifices are invaluable and deeply appreciated.
Commander Defence Force, Commodore Raymond E. King, wholeheartedly dedicates himself to the transformation of Defence Force personnel’s quality and capabilities. This commitment is rooted in the pursuit of excellence in leadership, which is demonstrated through professionalism.
