On the 20 December 2022, Marines of the Royal Bahamas Defence Force (RBDF) Commando Squadron Department concluded their community outreach at The Children’s Emergency Hostel located on McKinney Drive. The project led by Commanding Officer, Lieutenant Commander Edward Fritz was partnered with Paradise Games volunteers who assisted Marines in clean-up efforts on the grounds around the center and conducted minor painting to areas of the facility. A funday day was also provided for twenty-six (26) kids at the hostel after which gifts were presented for them to enjoy during the holiday season.
