The Royal Bahamas Defence Force is continuing an active search for the remaining persons after a vessel capsized in waters in a faied smuggling operation on Sunday past. RBDF Search and Rescue Coordinator stated that the Royal Bahamas Defence Force along with the US Coast Guard is currently conducting aerial surveillance. Underwater surveillance and surface assets are also designated to the area to assist in the ongoing search and recovery operation. The Royal Bahamas Defence Force assets and personnel on scene remain meticulous in their search efforts, and further updates will be provided once they become available.
