Members of Royal Bahamas Defence Force Entry 53/22 commemorated their 10th anniversary of service with a community service initiative held on Friday, 23 January 2026.
The initiative comprised a clothing and food supplies give-back, which commenced in the Bain Town community and culminated at the Salvation Army, was well received by residents and families reached. Commodore Floyd Moxey Commander Defence Force commended the effort, noting that community-centered initiatives demonstrate the RBDF’s dual role of safeguarding national security while also building trust, resilience, and unity within the society it serves.
The initiative reflected the enduring commitment of Entry 53/22 to service beyond uniform, demonstrating compassion, unity, and dedication to the Bahamian people, reinforcing the Defence Force values of service, responsibility, and community partnership.
