The Royal Bahamas Defence Force extends sincerest condolences to the family of the late Petty Officer Marko Curry, who passed away on Tuesday 21 March 2023.Petty Officer Marko Curry enlisted in the Defence Force as a member of New Entry 31 on 13 May 1996. Upon completion of New Entry Training, he was assigned to the Commando Squadron Department where he served until 1998.Petty Officer Curry’s eager and pleasant personality enabled him to perform in many capacities during his tenure on the Royal Bahamas Defence Force in the Squadron Department where he served on P-43, His Majesty’s Bahamian Ships INAGUA, BAHAMAS and ROLLY GRAY. He also served in the Supply Department and Military Police Force and Protection. His last assignment was to the Engineering Department’s Hull Workshop where his duties included Welding and Plumbing on service crafts.The Commander Defence Force, Commodore Raymond King extends sincerest condolences to family members and loved ones of the late Petty Officer Marko Curry on behalf of himself, members of his Executive Command Team, Officers, Warrant Officers, Senior Rates and Junior Rates of the Royal Bahamas Defence Force.
