Coral Harbour Base, 22 SEPT. ‘23 (RBDF): Able Mechanic Jonah Johnson was
the recipient of the Royal Bahamas Defence Force Hull Department’s 2 nd Marine of
the Quarter (April – June 2023) award on September 22, 2023, at HMBS Coral
Harbour.
Able Mechanic Johnson’s hard-working nature has earned him the admiration of his
colleagues as a beacon of excellence through his unwavering dedication, discipline,
and exceptional competence within the department, which serves as a testament of
his commitment to the mission and values of the Royal Bahamas Defence Force.
Presenting his award were Captain Coral Harbour, Captain Glenn McPhee, Base
Engineering Officer Lieutenant Commander Nevada Bain and Department Heads.
The RBDF under the leadership of Commander Defence Force, Commodore
Raymond King is dedicated to the transformation of personnel rooted in the pursuit
of excellence with a shared responsibility for accomplishing the Defence Force’s
mandate.
