While on routine patrol in the area of the western end of the Arawak Container Port Leading Seaman Ramsey observed some suspicious activity in that area and requested additional support from the HPU as he proceeded to further investigate. Subsequently, P-110 and P-115 were dispatched to render assistance.

Upon further investigation, they discovered a forty-foot (40ft) white cabin cruiser with twenty (20) suspected migrants onboard in the area of the Sand Trap. Nationalities include Haitian, Ecuadorian, African, Honduran, and Columbian, there were three (3) adult males, twelve (12) adult females, and five (5) children apprehended from that vessel.

The migrants were transported to HPU where they are awaiting transfer to Immigration officials for further processing.
