The Royal Bahamas Defence Force (RBDF), Bahamas Military and Maritime Academy (BMMA), successfully hosted the RBDF Triathlon onboard HMBS Coral Harbour on March 7th, 2025. This high-intensity fitness event featured a 300-meter swim, a 5-mile bike ride, and a 1-mile run, pushing participants to their physical limits in a test of endurance and teamwork.

The competition was divided into two challenging evolutions, a team event followed by a solo event. The event saw enthusiastic support from personnel stationed at HMBS Coral Harbour, who cheered on marines from various units, including BMMA, Commando Squadron, the Supply Department, and the Administration (Gym) Department.

This event marks the first in a series of fitness challenges to be hosted throughout the month, reinforcing the RBDF’s commitment to fostering physical readiness and unit cohesion among its personnel.
