In the spirit of giving at Christmas time, members from the Royal Bahamas Defence Force Information Technology Section reached out to the Bahamas Amputee Association with a donation of hams and turkeys for persons affected with this disability. The Bahamas Amputee Association was selected for the donation as one of the Defence Force’s very own Lieutenant Commander (retired) Arlington Williams is an amputee.The donation was made on Wednesday, December 15, 2021, at Lewis Orthopedics Milton St. The donors intend to encourage others that they too would consider giving to those in their communities experiencing hardships throughout this difficult time.From the left, Chief Petty Officer Myran Campbell, Ms Shantel Gardiner BAA member, Brown Shirt: Dr. Joseph Lewis- Founder Bahamas Amputee Association, Dr Jodie Lewis Co-founder Bahamas Amputee Association, Lt Commander (ret.)
