Members of the Royal Bahamas Defence Force Entry 51/ 21, commemorated their 12th anniversary of service with a community outreach initiative at Grant Town Park on Saturday, 7 February 2026.
The initiative which focused on serving hot meals, was well received by the residents and families reached. Commodore Floyd Moxey Commander Defence Force commended the effort, noting that community-centered initiatives demonstrate the RBDF’s dual role of safeguarding national security while also building trust, resilience, and unity within the society it serves.
The initiative reflected the enduring commitment of Entry 51/21 to service beyond uniform, demonstrating compassion, unity, and dedication to the Bahamian people, reinforcing the Defence Force values of service, responsibility, and community partnership.
The Royal Bahamas Defence Force under Commodore Moxey’s leadership, is optimizing excellence by bridging generations and embracing modernization. As such, we salute Entry 51/21 as they commemorate 12 years of steadfast service which continues to strengthen the security and well-being of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas.
