Senior Lieutenant William Sturrup of the Royal Bahamas Defence Force made a courtesy call on Commander Luke Slivinski, Commanding Officer of the United States Coast Guard Cutter DILIGENCE on November 21, 2019.

A Subject Matter Expert Exchange (SMEE) was organized and coordinated between the US (USCG) and The Bahamas to discuss areas of the operations, challenges and common interests. They included information relating to local knowledge, operational activities and capacity building to mitigate transnational criminal activities in the southern Bahamas squadron were discussed.

Senior Lieutenant Sturrup, the Commanding Officer of ROLLY GRAY was accompanied by the Executive Officer, Lieutenant Roberto Adderley and the Coxswain of his vessel, Petty Officer Doyle Johnson. They also received a tour of the vessel whilst onboard.
