The Deputy Commander Defence Force, Captain Shonedel Pinder, along with Officers and Marines of the Royal Bahamas Defence Force, paid their final respects to the late Petty Officer (Ret.) Aubrey Tucker during a Semi-Military Funeral Service held on Friday, February 7, 2025, at Holy Cross Anglican Church, Soldier Road.

Bringing remarks on behalf of Commander Defence Force, Commodore Raymond King, was Deputy Commander Defence Force, Captain Shonedel Pinder, who expressed heartfelt condolences to the family. He reflected on the impact that Petty Officer Tucker made in the various departments he served during his tenure in the Royal Bahamas Defence Force, describing him as an individual who carried out his duties with pride and diligence.

The service was officiated by The Reverend Dr. Ethan P. J. Ferguson. Following the ceremony, Officers and Marines honored the 34-year veteran with an interment at Woodlawn Gardens Cemetery, paying tribute to his dedicated service to the nation.

Commander Defence Force, Commodore Raymond King, along with his Executive Team, Officers, Warrant Officers, Senior Rates, Junior Rates, and Veterans, extends sincere condolences to the family and loved ones of the late Petty Officer (Ret.) Aubrey Tucker. His service and contributions to the Royal Bahamas Defence Force will always be remembered.
