The Deputy Commander of the Defence Force, Captain Shonedel Pinder, along with the Officers and Marines of the Royal Bahamas Defence Force, gathered to pay final respects to the late Retired Petty Officer Ronald Brown, whose eulogy took place on Thursday, May 16th, 2024, at the Good News Seventh Day Adventist Church in Flamingo Gardens. The officiating Minister was Pastor Kenny Deveaux, with the assistance of Force Chief Petty Officer John Ingraham and other ministers of the gospel.
During the service, guests and loved ones shared words of condolences, including Captain Shonedel Pinder and Captain Floyd Moxey who spoke to the profound sacrifices made by Petty Officer Brown during his tenure in the RBDF in dedicated service to his country.
The service concluded with semi-military honours at the church, featuring a brief ceremony including a flag folding ritual. Final interment will take place in a private ceremony amongst loved ones.
The Royal Bahamas Defence Force acknowledges and appreciates Petty Officer Brown’s significant contributions to the organization. They extend their deepest sympathies to his family and loved ones on behalf of the Commander of the Defence Force, Commodore Raymond King, his Executive team, Officers, and Marines.
