Defence Headquarters, 1 DEC’ 23 (RBDF): In a display of exceptional skill and camaraderie, ten (10) members the Royal Bahamas Defence Force (RBDF) Shooting Team were recognized by the organization for their recent victory at the Bahamas Department of Corrections (BDOCS) Shooting Invitational 2023 on Friday, November 24th, 2023.
The team was able to navigate various judged stages showcasing prowess in speed, accuracy, stress management, and the coveted “Top Gun” category. These skilled marksmen were not only recognized individually but collectively awarded medals for their stellar performance, reflecting the organization’s pride in the team’s performance and awesome representation of the Royal Bahamas Defence Force.
In the first and second stages, the team established a commanding lead over the competition and remained undeterred, maintaining their momentum, throughout the final stages. This victory not only confirmed their status as the winners of the Invitational, but also highlighted the synergy unity within RBDF team members.
Expressing gratitude for the invitation and the opportunity to participate, the team emphasized the importance of events like these in fostering relationships and camaraderie among the uniformed branches.
