In keeping with the tradition of honoring the deceased sovereign, The Commonwealth of The Bahamas, under the decree of His Excellency The Most Honorable Sir Cornelius A Smith, assembled a parade on East Bay Street to commemorate the passing of the Queen. The Parade consisted of Male and Female Guards from the Royal Bahamas Police Force and The Royal Bahamas Defence force, Commander Defence Force, Commodore Raymond King, Commissioner of Police, Clayton Fernander, a platoon from The Bahamas Department of Corrections, The Bahamas Department of Immigration, and The Bahamas Customs Department.The march started at Parliament Square, headed to Christ Church Cathedral where the Service of Remembrance and Thanksgiving was held for Queen Elizabeth II.
