Dr. Gillian Curry-Williams, designer and owner of Remilda Rose Designs, met with Commander Defence Force, Commodore Raymond King, and members of his Executive Leadership Team at the Ministry of National Security in the Commander Defence Force Conference Room earlier this week on November 20, 2024.
During the visit, Dr. Curry-Williams expressed her heartfelt appreciation to Commodore King for the Royal Bahamas Defence Force Band’s performance at a show hosted by Remilda Rose Designs in June of this year. The event, which honored individuals who have overcome cancer as well as those still battling the disease, was a meaningful occasion, and the band’s participation added a significant and memorable touch to the proceedings.
In addition to her gratitude, Dr. Curry-Williams made a generous donation to the RBDF Band as a token of appreciation for their exceptional performance and dedication during the event.
The Royal Bahamas Defence Force, under the leadership of Commodore Raymond King, remains committed to supporting community initiatives that promote strength, resilience, and unity. The RBDF is proud to collaborate with organizations like Remilda Rose Designs in efforts that uplift and honor members of the Bahamian community.
