RETIRED WARRANT OFFICERS MAKE DONATION TO THE ROYAL BAHAMAS DEFENCE FORCE

Retired Force Chief Petty Officers Gary Pratt and Basil Miller of the Royal Bahamas Defence Force paid a special visit to Commander Defence Force, Commodore Raymond King on February 20, 2023, at the Defence Headquarters, John F. Kennedy Drive. Also in attendance was Executive Staff Officer, Captain Henry Daxon and Command Warrant, Force Chief Petty Officer Remone Storr.The retired Warrant Officers in collaboration with other RBDF Veterans and retirees donated propane-operated eternal flame equipment for installation at the HMBS Flamingo Monument and Memorial Park in honour of our fallen heroes. Additionally, discussions were centered on the fabrication of a backup electrical chemical mechanism to ensure the flame burns perpetually.The ‘Eternal Flame is symbolic of a nation’s eternal gratitude and remembrance of their fallen.
