The Royal Bahamas Defence Force (RBDF) formally recognized Lieutenant Connor Pascale, United States Coast Guard Liaison Officer, for his dedicated service and contributions over the past two years as he departs The Bahamas to accept a new appointment in the United States of America.
During his tenure in The Bahamas, Lieutenant Pascale played a significant role in strengthening the longstanding partnership between the Royal Bahamas Defence Force and the United States Coast Guard. His efforts helped to enhance cooperation in key operational areas, including migration interdiction, counter-illegal activity operations, joint patrols, and search and rescue missions.
Lieutenant Pascale expressed his appreciation for the opportunity to support the close working relationship between both agencies and reflected on several successful collaborative initiatives during his assignment. Among the highlights of his tenure was the coordinated response to Hurricane Melissa, when combined efforts contributed to the safe evacuation of more than 1,400 persons. The operation demonstrated the importance of strong interagency cooperation, effective communication, and regional readiness during times of crisis.
