The Royal Bahamas Defence Force attended the funeral service of the late Vernon Maxwell Pinder, one of the three brave souls that represented the Commonwealth Of the Bahamas in World War II.

The funeral service which was held at Bethel Baptist Church, Nassau Street.

Members of the Royal Bahamas Police Force, Royal Bahamas Defence Force, dignitaries, loved ones and friends all showed up to memorialize the veteran and extend their support to his family.

Mr. Pinder is a legend and hero for many and represented his country with honour.  

Commodore Dr. Raymond King, on behalf of the Executive Command Team, Officers, Warrant Officers, Senior and Junior Rates of the Royal Bahamas Defence Force, extends heartfelt condolences to the family, friends, and loved ones of the late Vernon Maxwell Pinder.

May the family find comfort and strength in the memories they shared during this time of loss, and may they be surrounded by God’s richest blessings.
