Open Systems Technology International is a local company which partners with DocuWare to provide integrated IT solutions and services that are tailored to client specifications. During the presentation, Mr. Bridgewater spoke to some of the advantages of the management system and how it would greatly assist the Human Resource element of the Royal Bahamas Defence Force as it seeks to move towards digitization. Once implemented, the software will provide Document Conversion and Planning and Configuration Development; creating access to documents in real time with encryption and tracking capibilities to route information electronically to authorized individuals in a secure environment. Through its varied modules, the Enterprise Management System will also provide use of electronic forms for public and internal use. The digitization of the organization’s information processes is one of the several transformative strategic initiatives driven by the Commander Defence Force, Commodore Raymond King to create greater organizational efficiency and effectiveness.
