Bahamian civilians assisted by members of the Royal Bahamas Defence Force demonstrated patriotism and national pride in the aftermath of Hurricane Dorian.
Having given their time and personal finances these civilians went above and beyond not only in assisting with the evacuation of 1,307 people as of 0927 on Friday 13 September, 2019 in Hurricane Dorian’s aftermath, but helped to instill a sense of pride at Abaco’s air and sea ports.
Capt Paul Arahna Jr and his pilot and civilian ex military and US State Department Agent Kasimu Ellis formerly of the RBDF along with several others demonstrated true patriotism.
This group of men raised 14 Bahamian National Flags throughout the island and Cays of the Abacos.
