Commander Defence Force, Commodore Raymond King, Officers and Marines of the Royal Bahamas Defence Force held a Wreath Laying Ceremony at HMBS CORAL HARBOUR on Friday, 17 March, 2023 in honor of fallen Officers, Warrant Officers and Marines during the past year.According to Commodore King, the importance of the ceremony was a way to reconnect and maintain a favorable relationship with the families of fallen members. In thanking the families for taking time from their busy schedules, he assured them that the contributions to the organization by their loved ones will forever be remembered. Force Chaplain, Apostle Raymond Wells brought words of encouragement for the families and lifted them up in prayer, as they continue to navigate through the loss of their loved ones.The event was observed by wreaths being laid by the family members of Officers, Warrant Officers and Marines falling from the ranks during the past and current year.On behalf of Commander Defence Force, Commodore Raymond King, his Executive Team, Officers, Warrant Officers, Senior and Junior Enlisted, thoughts and prayers are with the families.
