In keeping with the Defence Force’s commitment to fostering community outreach and strengthening national ties, the members of Entry 46 and Woman Entry 16 commemorated their milestone by supporting a family tragically displaced by an explosion at their home on December 29, 2024.

While their mandate calls them to protect and serve at sea, these dedicated officers have demonstrated that their commitment extends within the community as well. Through a heartfelt gesture of compassion, the entry presented the family with a $1,000 gift

certificate to Super Value Food Store, offering much-needed relief during their time of need.

This meaningful act by the members of Entry 46 and Woman Entry 16 embodies the essence of service by safeguarding the nation’s borders while also showing care and support for their communities. Their efforts demonstrate that national security involves both vigilance as marines and compassion as citizens.

As the Royal Bahamas Defence Force continues its mission to safeguard our country, this moment reflects the enduring values that guide its members – service, community, and an unwavering dedication to the Bahamian people.
