Commander Defence Force, Commodore Raymond E. King attended the Royal Bahamas Police Force’s (RBPF) A, B, and C Squads Passing Out Parade at the Police Training College on Thompson Boulevard on Friday, November 15, 2024.
The event celebrated the achievements of one hundred (100) graduates who showcased the results of their rigorous training through a series of impressive demonstrations.
Commodore King’s presence underscored the strong partnership between the Royal Bahamas Defence Force (RBDF) and the Royal Bahamas Police Force, reflecting the mutual commitment of both organizations to safeguarding the nation.
His attendance highlighted the synergy between these two pillars of national security, emphasizing their collaborative efforts to maintain peace and stability in the Bahamas.
The Honorable Wayne Munroe, Minister of National Security, served as the event’s keynote speaker. In his address, Minister Munroe congratulated the new police officers on their accomplishments and reminded them of their vital role in serving and protecting the Bahamian community. His inspiring words set the tone for the ceremony, encouraging the graduates to uphold the highest standards of service and integrity.
During the parade, the graduates demonstrated their dedication and skill through various displays, including drills, defensive tactics, physical fitness, and a captivating performance by the RBPF Band. Each display was a testament to the rigorous training and discipline instilled in the new recruits.
