The Commander Defence Force, Commodore Raymond King addressed the latest group of Defence Force Recruits this morning (October 2) at HMBS CORAL HARBOUR.

Speaking briefly to the young entrants, Commodore King issued an early congratulations to the 56 recruits who comprise New Entry 57 and Woman Entry 26, who are expected to graduate in a week’s time on October 9th, 2020. In his remarks, he inspired the recruits to embrace an exciting military career filled with great expectation as the restructured establishment is being transformed and experiencing organizational growth and change.

In his remarks, he inspired the recruits to embrace an exciting military career filled with great expectation as the restructured establishment is being transformed and experiencing organizational growth and change.

Dr. King also encouraged the young men and women to forever seek the Lord’s wisdom, knowledge, and understanding in all of their undertaking. Additionally, Commodore King charged and challenged the recruits to ensure that their values beliefs, and attitudes are congruent to the organization’s values; that is, customs, traditions, and customs expected of honorable men and women, thus ensuring successful and rewarding careers.

Finally, Dr. King challenged them to make sound financial and investment decisions at this time that are sustainable as their naval careers officially begin, especially during uncertain times in this COVID-19 pandemic.

Led by Lieutenant Commander Origin Deleveaux who currently serves as the Training Officer, this latest squad of Recruits has spent over 16 weeks of new entry training, and are destined to make a significant contribution and add organizational value immediately upon graduation.
