Deputy Commander Defence Force, Captain Natasha Miller signed the book of condolences and paid respects to the family of the late Dr. Norman Rupert Gay, distinguished former Cabinet Minister and Parliamentarian in the foyer of the House of Assembly on October 16, 2025.
Dr. Gay’s passing marks the end of an era in Bahamian politics and public service. Throughout his career, he served with distinction as a Cabinet Minister and represented his constituents with dedication in Parliament.
A state recognized funeral was held on Friday, October 17 at Hillview, Seventh Day Adventist Church.
The Royal Bahamas Defence Force extends its deepest sympathies to the family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Dr. Gay’s remarkable service to our nation.
