Force Chief Petty Officer John Ingraham from the Royal Bahamas Defence Force Chaplaincy Office, accompanied by Womon Marine Daenette Brown, visited Anatol Rodgers High School for an interactive session with the twelfth-grade students on Wednesday, November 6, 2024.
During the visit, Force Chief Petty Officer Ingraham delivered a presentation focused on high school leadership principles and described some of the traits of effective leaders. He emphasized key areas such as influence, vision, effective communication, mentorship, character, and emotional intelligence, providing the students with valuable guidance on becoming impactful leaders within their school and even their communities.
In alignment with the Royal Bahamas Defence Force’s commitment to “The Pursuit of Excellence in Guarding Our Heritage,” the RBDF, under the leadership of Commander Defence Force, Commodore Raymond E. King, remains dedicated to fostering the development of young Bahamians. Through regular and meaningful active participation with the youth, the RBDF aims to instill qualities of discipline, leadership, and determination, empowering the next generation to become exemplary citizens.
