Former Commodores

Initially several officers from the United Kingdom were obtained on loan to develop a blueprint for the Force along the organizational lines of the Royal Navy, with special emphasis on maritime law enforcement . The Royal Bahamas Defence Force has since grown into a vibrant multi-missioned military organization.
