HMBS NASSAU has recognized three of the ship’s company as the most outstanding Marines for the year 2025, in acknowledgment of their exemplary performance and dedication to duty.
The awards were presented by Captain Sonia Miller, Captain Coral Harbour, and Acting Commander Sidney Whyms, Commanding Officer HMBS Nassau during Morning Colours on Monday, 20 October 2025 at Coral Harbour Base.
Recipients of the awards were Marine Mechanic Jaden Oliver for top performance within the Engineering Section, Marine Seaman Lorenzo Darville for top performance within the Seaman Section, and Woman Marine Shaquellia Allen, who received the award for Most Improved Overall.
The awards highlight the steadfast commitment to excellence and professionalism demonstrated by members of HMBS NASSAU, whose efforts contribute to the operational effectiveness of the Royal Bahamas Defence Force.
The awardees exemplify tactical competence, resolute standards, and effective problem solving, as they serve in the Squadron Department. Congratulations are extended to the honorees for their outstanding achievements and all RBDF personnel are encouraged to continue striving for excellence in service to country.
