The Commodore of the Royal Bahamas Defence Force, Dr. Raymond King; Commissioner of Police, Paul Rolle; Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of National Security, Mr. Marco Rolle; other Senior Officers from the Royal Bahamas Police and Defence Forces, ministerial staff and Island Administrators joined the Minister of National Security, the Honourable Marvin Dames in several stakeholders meetings throughout the Northern, Central and Southern Abaco and surrounding cays during Sunday 13 September 2020.
Specifically, the Minister of National Security and entourage met with the publics in Sandy Point, Marsh Harbour, Treasure Cay, Cooperstown, Guana Cay, Green Turtle Cay, and Hope Town among others to discuss first-hand security concerns from residents and required actions on the military and law enforcement agency’s part. Subsequently, stakeholders were reassured by the Honorable Minister of National Security of the Police and Defence Force’s immediate, medium, and long strategies which had already started to effectively address their concerns.
Likewise, community members were advised of the Law Enforcement Agency Heads intent of active community engagements to ensure operational strategies and tactics are focused on combating criminal elements and restoring the peace, security, and tranquility enjoyed by family Island residents.
