Members of the National Youth Guard (NYG), led by Leading Mechanic Lathan Bastian, assisted the Bahamas Historical Society (BHS) by relocating valuable artifacts after a leak was discovered in the museum’s roof.
This proactive measure was apart of their preparations for the impending arrival of Hurricane Milton, ensuring the artifacts remained protected during the repair process.
BHS President, Mrs. Andrea Munnings-Major expressed immense gratitude for the assistance provided by the NYG team, sharing her heartfelt thanks and appreciation for their timely and critical support.
The Royal Bahamas Defence Force (RBDF), under the leadership of Commander Defence Force Commodore Raymond King, remains committed to serving the community and stands ready to offer assistance as a responsible corporate citizen.
