The Accounts Section of the Royal Bahamas Defence Force (RBDF), hosted its Second Annual Community Outreach & Free Breakfast Giveback at Christie Park on Saturday, 18 October 2025.
The initiative provided free clothing, hot meals, and encouragement to individuals and families from the surrounding community. Commodore Floyd Moxey Commander Defence Force commended the effort, noting that community-centered initiatives demonstrate the RBDF’s dual role of safeguarding national security while also building trust, resilience, and unity within the society it serves.
Chief Petty Officer Tina Rolle, Chairman of the Accounts Social Committee, led the well-coordinated effort, which was met with gratitude and appreciation from all who attended. Commander Samantha Hart, Accounts Officer emphasized that this event demonstrates compassion, care, and social responsibility within the community.
The RBDF, under the leadership of Commodore Floyd Moxey, is optimizing excellence by bridging generations and embracing modernization. As such, the RBDF remains committed to service beyond the seas to strengthen our communities, uplift those in need, and promote compassion, unity, and social responsibility.
