Members of the Royal Bahamas Defence Force Band recently took a little time out from lifting their playing instruments to assist a local church with some heavy lifting.

Led by Force Chief Petty Officer Matthew Rolle, the Marines assisted the Church of God of Prophecy, Shirley Street outreach ministry. They volunteered their services by unloading several packages of grocery items into the church. These items, which were made available by Rapid Bahamas Feeding Network, a non-profit organization, will be utilized to assist the needy.

Senior Pastor of the church, Pastor Dale Moss was appreciative and pleased with the work ethics of the hard-working Marines, who were there to lend helping hands. Force Chief Petty Officer Rolle said that his team of Band members remains poised to assist the community when necessary.

As the Royal Bahamas Defence Force continue to patrol and protect the territorial integrity  of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas, the men and women remain committed to rendering assistance the community.
